Foram adquiridos mais três pombos de origem janssen que vem reforçar a colónia, trata-se de:

1 neto da Van MOORSEL 1st Ace Vitesse Pigeon of the Netherlands. 3 x 2nd Ace Hen of the Netherlands. Winner of 20 x 1st prize, 10 x 2nd prize, 5 x 3rd prize. 48 times a Top 10 prize winner. Bred & Raced by Piet Reitvink. Owned by Louella Pigeon World;

1 neto do Romário 89 6º Short Distance Bird Olimpiad Grand Canary 1993. Este exemplar é tio puro da melhor fémea do nosso pombal "POMBA BOA". Desde Norte a Sul estes Romários têm vindo a mostrar-se excelentes nos cruzamentos, desde cruzamentos com os VERHEIN até com os próprios pombos janssen;

1 filho do famoso casal Bugno (excelente voador de BERT BRASPENNIING) X Inglesa (uma das melhores reprodutoras existentes no Algarve) filho do famoso 05 inglês voado por Alan Brassington, agora propriedade da Louella vencedor de  26x1st, 12x2nd, 6x3rd, resumindo 52 prizes no top 4.

Mais uma vez reporta-se mais um roubo de pombos.

Na última noite foram roubados 8 pombos do pombal de Ludo Claessens.

Neste assalto lamentamos o roubo de Simply The Best, Nestsister Kirsty, Blauw 007….

Ainda bem que este infeliz acontecimento não foi maior, uma vez que Ludo Claessens mudou os seus melhores reprodutores para outra morada.

We regret that once again we have to report a theft of pigeons.

Last night 8 pigeons were stolen from Ludo Claessens.

Included in the theft were top pigeons such as Simply The Best, Nestsister Kirsty, Blauw 007….

Because he was frightened by the many thefts, Ludo Claessens had luckily moved his best breeders to another address last week.

Os últimos anos e especialmente os últimos meses, não ouvimos nada senão roubo de pombos a columbófilos. Na maioria das vezes a vida de um columbófilo é destruída num instante.

O ultimo ano foram assaltados um grande número de columbófilos do top, tais como: Robert Van Eycken, Heremans-Ceusters, Alwin Petrie, Gommaire Verbruggen, Klaus Stieneker, Gerard Koopman, Jacob Poortvliet, Marcel Aelbrecht, ... e ainda mais outros !

The last years, and especially the last months, we don’t hear anything else apart from pigeon thefts by pigeons fanciers. In many cases the life work of the respective fancier is destroyed in the blink of an eye.

The last years pigeons have been stolen from a number of top fanciers ; just to give you a few examples :

By Robert Van Eycken, Heremans-Ceusters, Alwin Petrie, Gommaire Verbruggen, Klaus Stieneker, Gerard Koopman, Jacob Poortvliet, Marcel Aelbrecht, ... and many more fanciers !

And why ? What is the reason ? Why do people want to steal pigeons ? Have you ever thought about it ? Actually it is beyond comprehension, because the thieves can’t do a lot with the pigeons, wouldn’t you think ?

Fanciers have many questions...We can be certain it isn’t just about one person, but more than one person, a group, or should we say a gang ? And if it is a gang ? Is it then the same gang who is responsible for all the thefts ? If so, then you would think that it is a very well-organised and professional gang. There have been so many pigeons stolen, and not a trace ( as far as we know )...It is unbelievable that there aren’t any leads ? This is of course also due to the fact that these thefts probably don’t take priority by the police...because pigeons are 'ONLY' pigeons ?? But still, for us fanciers it is a disaster,...

What can we as fanciers do ? Organise ourselves ? Set up a group through our own initiative ? Or construct a thorough and detailed case file to present to the judicial agencies ?

How do we protect ourselves ? Many fanciers are now afraid, and that is only logical, how would you feel, after all the alarming thefts, ...How can we protect ourselves better? Alarm systems ? With security cameras and infrared walls...? Or a better guard dog ? or 2 ? Or a combination of guard dog and security system ?

Over this and much more can now be discussed on the PIPA forum that has been specially set up for these pigeon thefts, with the intention that ideas can be exchanged in order to achieve something constructive so that we can find an answer, possibly find the pigeons, but also to anticipate new thefts !

Más notícias vindas da Alemanha. Na noite de 3 para 4 de Dezembro do presente ano, no pombal do Sr. Klaus stieneker foram roubados 43 dos mais importantes pombos deste senhor, no valor de 50000 Euros.

Sad news from Germany. The night from 3 to 4 December top racer Klaus Stieneker received visits from thiefs...They stole 43 of his most important pigeons. The value of those pigeons is at least 50.000 euro !

O Sr. Houben acaba de informar que na noite de 13 para 14 de Novembro, Young Artiest, provavelmente um dos melhores do mundo morreu com 25 anos.

A visita a um vencedor de Barcelona é sempre algo de especial. Não obstante a curiosidade pelo pombo vencedor, e as pessoas por detrás do vencedor... Depois de uma vitória Francesa em 2005 e uma vitória Holandesa em 2006, coube à Alemanha o triunfo. E não foi ainda um velho amador, pelo contrário encontramos Menne and Daugters firmes no top dos resultados. Nos últimos cinco anos Barcelona foi ganho por amadores de diferentes nacionalidades.

A visit to an international Barcelona winner is always something special. Forever the curiosity for the winning pigeon, the people behind the winner…After a French victory in 2005 and a Dutch victory in 2006, it was this year Germany who took the international triumph. And yet again, it was not just any old fancier, for we find Menne and Daughters firmly established at the top of the race results. In the last five years Barcelona has been won on an international level by four different nationalities.

Foram roubados 25 pombos no pombal do Columbófilo belga Gommaire Verbruggen, apesar do pombal estar protegido com sistema de alarme, entre eles o pombo que provavelmente ganhará o 1º pombo Ás Nacional KBDB 2007!!

Nos últimos anos poucas pessoas visitaram o pombal, mas mesmo assim os ladrões conheciam muito bem como tudo estava organizado!

No total, foram roubados 25 pombos de longa distância.

In the loft of Gommaire Verbruggen, 25 pigeons are stolen. Among them the pigeon that possibly will win the 1st nat ace pigeon title KBDB 2007 !!

The pigeons are protected with an alarm system. The last years almost nobody entered the racing lofts, but still the thiefs must have known very well how everything was organised over there !
